Host Discretion List

IMPORTANT

The Host Discretion List allows hosts to restrict certain members from attending their events, this is a serious list and requires good reason(s) for adding a user to the list!

Adding a Member to Your Discretion List

  • Contact the @Event Team Head or a @Event Committee Member
  • Provide the VRC and Discord ID of the member.
  • Provide a valid and substantial reason for the addition iAdding and notifying a member of your discretion may take up to **48hrs**. to your list.
Substantial reasons
  • Simply disliking a member or the way they behave is not a substansial reason to be placed on your discretion list.
  • The member being your EX-partner will also not be accepted. (Cases of stalking, abuse, harassment, or hate speech will apply)

Member Notification

  • The member will be notified by an @Event Committee Member or @Event Team Head through a ticket.
  • They will be informed that they won't be able to attend your events anymore or for a specific event.
Patreon & Reviews of discretion list

The discretion list is meant to maintain a comfortable environment for hosts while ensuring fairness and transparency.

  • Restrictions to Patreon Events will be a discussion between the @Event Host and a @Event Committee Member prior to hosting a Patreon Event to review your current discretion list to ensure comfort is maintained even through these event.
  • An @Event Committee Member will check back with you routinely about your personal discretion list.

Event Sign-up of member on your Discretion List

A member on your discretion list has signed-up to your event

Contact an @Event Committee Member within 📘events-organization that you need assistance. The Events Team Committee will handle interacting with the member and reminding them there is still an active discretion against them.

  • Do NOT try to confront the member yourself, they will be pulled into a ticket again by a committee member.
  • Event committee members will remove their name from the sign-up thread.
Co-Hosting

Sign-ups while you are co-hosting apply as well so be sure to communicate with the main host and the Event Team Committee.
